TAYLOR 现在是红的发烫，在墨尔本的3场演唱会居然来了29万观众，破了记录，本周末在悉尼四场演出应该也是。新加坡有东南亚其他国家地区没有的优势英语国际化城市，非宗教化都市，人均收入以及场馆能支撑这个级别的演出，所以除了新加坡，东南亚没有任何地方能满足这个条件。至于安全亚洲相对于欧美都安全得多。她在欧洲办几十场演出就说明她不在乎。新加坡开放，从疫情解放就看的出来，不管是专制的中国大陆，还是半专制的香港，以及所谓自由民主的台湾应该是这个地球开放最晚的，和政治制度无关，属于华人怕死心态。新加坡作为华人国家，敢率先开放融入国际，给大家留下非常好的印象。

@@lxy315lxy Haiya you copy paste comment trying to get your point across, it's beyond just safety for tourist but also business sense as well. Firstly Singapore is the closest ally to the US among all ASEAN nations. Singapore is actually a strategic destination, considering the fact that we are so well-connected by air and road and sea travel to most of Southeast Asia, and thus Taylor's team know all of the Southeast Asia fans will fly in regardless for world class experience. It is also due to the instability of unreliability of the surrounding ASEAN nations (Taylor cancelled her concert in Thailand back in 2014 because of the Coup) and don't forget about the recent last year shopping mall shooting incident killing innocent are literally in Bangkok hot destnation. Mexico, Argentina and Brazil are developing countries but it doesn't mean they are not safe for tourist as if what you thinking that they will get kidnap by anytime or beheaded by those cartel groups. The fact was those touristy area are protected by the cartel as they know tourism bring money to them so they won't bother any tourists at all. As to speak Singapore is also an neutral nation and there's a reason why the orange biscuit Donald Trump choose Singapore as the destination for the Summit between the US and North Korea Kim, it was by that Summit event that set within the global political history from now on why Singapore. Taylor is just not an artist that simple to the world anymore, the term "Swiftonomics" also play a role to the impact that many countries are trying hard to bid her to come perform as it is guarantee to boost the industries and wealth. She single handledly attract more auidences than freakin Olympics if you may not know

@joesama3282 I already know all of these so you don't need to explain. Taylor originally wanted to perform in Thailand and Philippines but changed her plan after she signed the exclusive deal so it has nothing to do with the military coup and mass shooting you have said in Bangkok. Also those mass shooting are very rare in Thailand many tourists still go there to visit after that incident including many of our fellow Singaporeans so all of what you said are just excuse. I'm glad to have gotten the tickets to her concert next week but I also wished fans from other countries that are unable to see Taylor will get to experience it next time.

@joesama3282 I saw some Brazilian fans that went to Taylor's concert in Rio de Janeiro reported that they were robbed while waiting outside the stadium. Then why did she still go there to perform? Harry Styles also has a lot of female fans, but he still performed in Brazil just 2 years ago. At the end of the day, it is all about the money and suitability of venues. The other factors are less significant for the artists.

lots of very serious crimes just that nobody dare to talk about it, go read sg local news! among students and youths, consume cannabis, ice, heroine very common, youngest 14yo boy. 15yo took knief robbed 7-11 convenience store, 14yoboy went into gold shop steal , he confessed he owed gambling debts 80,000$ ... Yes, our government looks, plans and moves way ahead🙏 (I'm always thankful.🙏) Absolutely essential because we're so small and vulnerable- we've to import almost everything. I'm quite amused by what the regional governments said about ours giving out grants to the Swift concerts. They kept harping on that fact and said that's why Swift cannot hold her concerts elsewhere in SEA and that we're not a good neighbour. I believe the Swift team sees Singapore as an entire package. The grants are just the icing on the cake. The regional leaders should consider the spill-over effects from the Swift concerts being held here. I'm sure some of the tourists would visit the surrounding regions. All of our economies really need a boost after 3-4 COVID years. 😅

哇靠機長搶到票呀！我們是在疫情的時候去接洽的，那時很多國家都還在封閉，不知道演唱會辦不辦得成，我們敢賭，他們不敢賭，現在沒有就不要唧唧歪歪。it is calculated risk 所以我們出錢要特別慎重，預估應該是東南亞7億人裏的1%最富有人群裏有1%是swifties，7萬人就夠了。本來籌劃是3場15萬人，本地一半東南亞一半所以一定要東南亞exclusivity。曼谷坐飛機來不過2小時嘛。現在6場估計外國人15萬的話，那麽15萬人的門票、機票、住宿、餐飲、交通、游戲、購物等六場六個億，GST9%就拿回5400萬，最多購物給你退點稅，5000萬，賺！我們不隨便亂花公帑的。

More economical for her to have one venue for South east Asia, save on logistical costs. Fans from SEA, India, China and Taiwan can converge easily in Singapore. Singapore being an expensive city to regional fans is of no concern to her.

Your analysis is very meaningful and logical. Yes, safety and security is the most important factor for me. If there is no safety and crowd control, the crowd itself can be a danger such as causing stampede and pandemoniam. Just think of the stampede in Lan Kwai Fong and Soeul a few years ago. It is scary.

Yeah, she's so big now, she doesn't need to cater to the Asia market. The last time she played in other Southeast Asian countries other than SG was ten years ago. She even skipped SG for her last concert tour in 2018 and only performed in Tokyo for Asia. Choosing SG means she doesn't have to change her setlist and modify her outfits to show less skin.

身為馬來西亞人聽了你的見解雖然覺得很無奈😢但還是很認同的，新加坡各方面條件都優越，也是長時間努力經營得來的成果，其實馬來西亞也有能力和條件申辦大型演唱會，無論戶外或室內體育館硬體設備都具備競爭力，更高的性價比，英語程度高，多語言環境，Coldplay來時也帶來了一場8萬觀眾，但這場演唱會爭議不少，馬來西亞從來都不缺硬體設備但缺少的大家懂得都懂，白花花的鈔票拒之門外，馬幣還一直貶值。。。

I remember the US ambassador said in an interview some time ago that it is part of his responsibility to bring cultural and entertainment acts to the country to enhance the diplomatic relationship and enable culture exchange.
