I'm an ultramarathon runner. You can't take an ultramarathon lightly at any kilometer. Yesterday, our team didn't play for victory and lacked the right attitude. After the game, many supporters prooved that the spirit of juventinita is fading. I don't care if we're using nextgen players or if it's just a friendly match. I'm used to Juventus striving for victory in every game. Yesterday, that wasn't the case. It was a poor attitude.

You explained it really well. When put in context, the result is completely acceptable. The reasons that came to mind at the end of the game were: 1. Intense training program and no one was at his best. 2. Half the first teamers just came back from vacation. 3. Half the team were U23 players. 4. We are building the team from scratch. It's not like when Zidane took over after Ancelotti. 5. This current group has never played together before (starting lineup). The 2nd half team are somewhat familiar. 6. Thiago Motta just started his project and his way of playing is different to what we had before. 7. With the players yet to return and those to be signed, you are talking about 6 starters: Danilo, Bremer, Luiz, Yildiz, Koopmeiners, Todibo. With this context, it's an acceptable result. And in preseason you care more about the performance. This is where we need to make observations and use as a reference to compare the upcoming game. Playing patterns start getting formed now.

It is very well explained, especially pointing out the stepping out of the comfort zone. There will be mistakes collectively and individually to learn from. For me, it felt like a good needed loss. Thuram looked better when on the ball than off the ball. Dusan should have at least hit the target with his PK. I agree that someone should step up for penalties as it almost feels at risk now each time we get one. Number 51 Mbangula looked fearless in attack.

Friendlies with overtrained regime prior are actually simulation for real match. That way the boys are actually play 1st half as if they are at 2nd half if you guys understand what i mean. This is what we are going to experience in this season where the schedule will have 3 days rest in between matches. Players will be forced to fill in unavailable spot in case of injury for example. The lost is actually a good way to find out what is wrong at early stages. I personally think we are going to have a problem if we were winning lol. There could be a possibility traces of Allegri style a bit just like Allegri was adjusting from prior Pirlo's before he implemented his real plan. This is because of a habit of players from previous Allegri era. I hope Mister's implementation went fast and smooth.

this was expected though: not because our players arent fit or they are rubbish but nurenburg already had their presesaon so they will be more fit and match- ready than us. also, we had a lot of youth players and at the end of the day, it is not a competiteve match but we hope to do better against brestois and atletico madrid

The fastest thing we must do is to build a high chemistry & a solid relationship between the new players before starting to apply the new tactics. Otherwise we will look like robots without souls. The friendly is a meaningless game which objectively proves nothing considering none of the major hitters were on the field. However, the team is very incomplete. You have 2 recognised strikers with one barely able to stay fit. A strong side needs 3-4 strikers at their disposal. Given the increased games coming this season and much sterner opposition in the CL, the team is very short in key areas. There is time for Giuntoli to address this but sales have been slow, purchases dependant on that very issue, with Kostic, De Sciglio and a few others still on the payroll. As far as the campaign goes, I do see the prospect of a stronger Juve in terms of desire and perhaps change in play from 3 years of Allegri. But in the end what matters is where the sides finish not a friendly warm up. We will be top by double digits easily as Conte will need time and they're the biggest threat given no European competition. We have a settled side, been together and the strongest depth in terms of quality as well. I think a realistic finish for you is 3rd/4th, but I have a feeling 5th spot and squeaking back into the CL will be the outcome.
