Hi. this was an architect model of part of Beiijing,china I brought secondhand and i modified into a model railway layout. It was made in china and the buildings were done with a CNC computer machine. I don't think it is 1/160 but close.

The main centre structure with the tall skyscrapers was an architects model of part of Beijing which I acquired many years ago. If you go back to some of my very early videos, you can see the extensions I added and the progress

I'm taking inspiration from your city for a city scene I'm making on my own layout. Thank you for sharing! But I have a question, are there any modern looking EMU or DMU sets where you don't hear that buzzing motor whine? I get the feeling all of the kato or tomix sets have that motor buzz.

EMU or DMU tend to have the motor noise due to the way the motors are mounted in the chassis. The new Greenmax units are very good from all accounts, but also very expensive. The new Kato and Tomix units are much better. Alot of my sets are a few years old. The new micro motors that are being fitted now are amazing for quietness and size.
