Very nice layout. I have a 5x7. I wish I would have more room to build a bigger layout like this.

Hi Robert yes it blows me away everytime I go to his house. I'm lucky as the layout is based on Rio Grande 1996 but he lets me run my CSX locos on it. The layout is a Triple deck and still along way to go . We run full ops sessions once a month which is alot of fun. We do try to post more but uploading this video took 6 hours so often dont have time to upload .

Just wondering... are those poles installed in a leaning position on purpose to mimic some real railway line?
@NscaleCSXandRioGrande4 жыл бұрын
They are indeed. Nothing is straight in real life. Am happy some one noticed. We did break one so I have to take them out and redo them again. Will add some more detail to them also.

@@NscaleCSXandRioGrande Thanks for your reply. Oh, wow, I've never seen post installed that way in real life in my part of the world (Australia). Is that for safety reasons? Very nice layout by the way. I'm contemplating getting back into modelling after many years off. I used N gauge before but as I'm getting on with years my eye sight is suggesting HO scale... still not sure which way to go.

@@pukavita lol yip I have to wear glasses . We put the post in from a photo at keystone sub. One is on a big lean as it got broken taking layout to the last show lol. Yip if I was starting out again I would go HO . Easier to see and still more detail parts available for ho . Some people are scale proud and its n or nothing. As long at its model remains who cares lol
