N SCALE HELIX BUILD: Block Detection

Looking good, Peter. I'm setting up for future detection in my helix as well, but only 2 blocks--one for the outer track and one for the inner.

Thanks Ron! Yes, I could have taken the easy route, but as I’m doing automation I really need the extra protection in case of derailments or uncoupling - this way there will be at least 2 blocks between every train in the helix. Now, if only KZbin would fix the issue of not being able to reply to comments as my channel, that would be great as well 🤣

Yes...until there’s a derailment and it loses the plot 🤣 You tell it what train is where and it keeps track from there. But with transponding it would work a treat as it would all be automatic.
