Níscalo del roble - Lactarius quietus - Oakbug Milkcap

Hoy os comparto un lactarius que crece principalmente en robledales y se caracteriza por su color marrón rosado y su látex blanco y abundante, su carne tiene un olor y sabor desagradable y picante por lo que no es comestible.

Descripción:
Sombrero: De tamaño mediano hasta 8 cm de diámetro, convexo a plano convexo y enseguida extendido, presenta una pequeña depresión central. Superficie seca, mate, de color marrón rojizo con bandas concéntrica y alguna mancha más oscura
Láminas: Apretadas, estrechas, decurrentes, de color crema que posteriormente pasa al ocre rosado
Pie: Central, cilíndrico, atenuado en la base, de joven macizo y de adulto hueco, de color ocre rosado, sin manchas
Carne: Compacta, de color crema rosado, de olor a chinches y sabor desagradable y picante después de unos minutos.
Látex: Al corte exuda abundante látex de color blanco
Comestibilidad: no comestible por su olor y sabor desagradable y picante
Hábitat: En frondosas, principalmente en Quercus
Época: Otoño (10/12/2022)
Lugar: Mungia, Bizkaia - País Vasco
Confusiones: Con el Lactarius rufus que crece en coníferas

Cap: Of medium size up to 8 cm in diameter, convex to flat convex and immediately extended, it presents a small central depression. Dry, matt, reddish-brown surface with concentric bands and some darker spots
Gills: Tight, narrow, decurrent, cream-colored that later turns to pinkish ocher
Stem: Central, cylindrical, attenuated at the base, solid when young and hollow when adult, pinkish ocher in color, without spots
Flesh: Compact, pinkish-cream in color, smells like bugs and tastes unpleasant and pungent after a few minutes.
Latex: When cut, it exudes abundant white latex
