although和 but原來可以在句子裏共存，相信很多讀者心裡會立刻想：「不是嘛！豈不是很多老師都是錯的，有沒有Fact Check ？」首先，筆者請各位閱讀以下的句子： A tree fell onto the school roof in a storm, but none of the students was injured, although many of them were in classrooms at the top of the building. 這句子是從一本由英國人編寫的英語書籍找到的，其實這並不是單一例子說明although 和 but 能同時在句子出現。至於過去老師經常說「不能同時使用」不是完全錯，只是道出了事實的一半。揭開真相 although 和 but 屬於「連接詞」的詞性，一個英語「連接詞」的功能就是連接兩組句子，上述的句子已說明簡單的事實--只要有3 組句子，although 和 but 便能同時出現。大部份學生因為受中文影響下，實際運用時沒將英語文法系統牢記，便出現兩組句子兩個「連接詞」的錯誤。所以，真相是錯誤源於兩組句子用上過多「連接詞」，不是although 和 but 不能共存。學習不能道聽途說、不求甚解，更不要人云亦云，若別人解答不了，嘗試利用別的方式去尋求答案，或會有意想不到的發現。露雲娜老師擁有25 年教授成人、高考及不同組別學生英語的經驗

Your English needs to improve. His English is goods enough. In fact, he did a great job. I have been in U.S. over 33 years. The interview went very smoothly. You have understanding issue, that is your issue.
