I ordered 4 x 5m airborne 10 with n male to rp-sma conectors ,these quality cables conectors,quality of assembling lab test are the most important thing when you want to get maximum from your antenna. Big respect for that guys.Mesi & Paoloni the name for pure quality.

Why do these plugs come with two center pins. One with a hole for soldiering and the other without?

Should the excess braid be cut off? Should the centre conductor be tinned or at least some more solder be taken in through the solder hole?

Simon Buster hi simon! yes you should cut the excess braid and yes you should solder the hole of the central conductor (but only for a few seconds without exceeding the tinning!)

Reading the comments for this video, you replied to a comment saying: Quote "you should cut the excess braid and you should solder the hole of the central conductor (but only for a few seconds without exceeding the tinning!)". Why didn't you do this in the video? I have 8 N-Type Male connectors to make, and I'm glad I read the comments. As a way of a suggestion for future videos you make, please be more accurate, and it would be great if we the viewer could actually listen to a real human speaking every step of making up the connector- instead of some background music.
