This song is an old song or it can be called a legendary song. It is a song used for the stage play and movie "Phan Thai Norasing". It is a very famous Thai historical novel that has been debated over whether this person existed in history or not. Phan Thai Norasing was the name of a nobleman in the late Ayutthaya period. He was a nobleman of the king named Phra Chao Suea. Phra Chao Suea was the name that the people called him. The word Suea means tiger. Because he was a king who was recorded as being fierce like a tiger. and likes fighting, especially Muay Thai. Until a Thai boxing textbook was written. Phan Thai Norasing has the position of helmsman of the Royal Barge. Before becoming a nobleman, he used to fight Thai boxing with this king. King Suea likes to go out in disguise to compete in Muay Thai until he meets him. This is because in the era of King Suea it was the beginning of the last dynasty which came from usurping the throne. Therefore there were many rebellions and many people who still did not accept it. One day, His Majesty traveled by boat with Phan Thai Norasing as the helmsman. He learned that a group of people were going to assassinate the King but he could not stop that group of people. But I love this king very much, both as a king and as a friend. So he decided to crash the ship to stop his progress. He knew that the only punishment for this action was beheading. King Suea loved this friend and nobleman very much so he tried to forgive him. But he insisted on the beheading to set an example for future generations to respect the law. This song was composed when he sang the song to say goodbye to his wife the night before he decided to capsize the boat. As a child, I went to see this play that was staged in Thailand's oldest theater on a farewell occasion before the theater was demolished.
