Their first song written and arranged by themselves on an album is called Alone, and the guitar solo for Alone is widely considered by the fandom to be one of Kanami’s best, most iconic solos. This might not be their most technical or crazy song in terms of songwriting, but definitely one of their most emotional ones. Kanami's Guitar together with Akane's drums and of course Saiki'a vocals are giving me goosebumps everytime again. A masterpiece if you ask me, and my personal #1 from them. 🤘🏻

A fantastic power ballad from Band Maid! Kanami really likes this song, was one of her most difficult to compose, and it's a masterpiece! Check out Manners from Unseen World, one of my favorite singing parts from Saiki, really powerful! About Us, live is another Saiki vocal showcase, so good!

So first off if you love Saiki's vocals and the more emotional songs, then you should definitely check out Wonderland. Anyway this song is one of my favorites aswell, It has a serious pop-punk vibe and I am a complete sucker for that. As a guitarist myself I really appreciate what Kanami is doing throughout the track. Her lead line in the verse is thankfully pretty easy to play while sounding beautiful. The solo is of course a highlight. It starts off with that fantastic open string riff on the high e, not something you hear that often but it fits perfectly. Then just a nice quick bit of scalework before finishing off with very melodic end piece. Sounds great and I just love the way she constructs solos and just her leadwork in general. One of my favorite guitarists easily.

Not insane to say; daydreaming is one of their top songs. Pretty sure it’s one of kanami favorite solos, and in a small poll last year on the subreddit it won as the best song barely over puzzle and looking I think. Glad you loved it!

Too bad no one (relatively speaking) knows about them. Band-Maid numbers should be in the tens of millions, if not higher. It's a complete mystery to me how people have moved away from mind, gut, and soul gripping rock... to cheezy, glitz & glam pop entertainers, industrial boy groups, and "I'm too cool for you" commercial hip-hop / rap crap. Maybe groups like Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer and others will once again ignite people's musical sensibilities back to where it should be - honest, rock-based, kick-ass music written from the heart that moves you. And that includes everything from classical, R & B, funk, grunge and soul to jazz, fusion, prog and metal. Wow... did I just say all that?? Sorry, slip of the fingers. 🤘😎🤘
