Is he afraid to hit Rhino and Carnage too hard? Or Green Goblin whom he hates and has nearly killed in the past after a BLOODY brawl that left both too exhausted to move? Please, that is nonsense. I say most of the time he is holding back is when he fights normal humans, not when he is facing off with superhumans like himself that can kill him and take his blows. Morbius and Blade are among that group based on feats, both are nearly immortal and can regenerate to a similar degree as Wolverine. He has no reason not to hit them as hard as he can. Also no, Blade has gotten a power boost and is not going down easily, guy has had Wolverine's claws stabbed through his head and just smiled.

@@wiseguy01 well the only villains stronger and overall more powerful than spidemrna is venom carnage morlun People like rhino who are technically stronger can be easily beaten by spidemrna given he has the speed advantage and cna hurt rhino so bad rhino is scared to fight him if he was pissed Even lizard is actually one of those villains wher peter can tare off his limbs if he wanted and just dominate lizard given peter doesn’t have to hold back given his regeneration Even so he doesn’t try to hurt people like lizard for the reason he is a victim and still conscious and feels pain Basically you have to make the argument that for every time Spider-Man fights someone who is say just a bit superior to him in terms of a strengths or speed peter can still hurt can rage then ti the point if he went all out they wouldn’t stand a chance The best comparison is with Superman where he fights people like his cousin, zod or his subordinates, he is actually far stronger than any of them and it’s clear all tried to go all out and kill him Yet he holds back and makes an effort to not kill them and still wins This vis him going all out on say doomsday or darksied It’s as simple as this all his villains go all out and outright try to kill Spider-Man Where Spider-Man isn’t even trying to kill his villains but subdo them let alone hurt them It’s kinda like saying if you trying to kill someone and that person could kill you but is actively not trying ti and still beats you, that’s when you know he is better Basically the reason Spider-Man doesnt holding back against people like venom or carnage is because even if he wanted to kill them it take everything out of him and still they be more likely to kill him if he doesn’t go all out Same principle with Superman vs doomsday or darkside as if Superman doesn’t go all out the likely hood of him losing to them even going all out decries To put it into a summary unless Spider-Man’s villains are equal to him or outrank him in more than one category should spidemrna no longer hold back But the fact is they only exceed him in one aspect Rhino strength Lizard healing and durability Electro speed Kraven skill Goblin will power and morality Otto intelligence He practically would beat every villain here given he overall is more well rounded and has most of the stats in his favor So to say he doesn’t hold back against any of these villains would be like saying they are equal to him in nearly everything whcih they aren’t Someone like venom has nearly every one of these stats and are double that of Peter’s that’s why Spider-Man doesn’t hold back against him let alone carnage who is double venom As if they are greater than him overall he can’t hold anything back Vs him just fighting an equal like say Ben rilley Where regardless if they hold back or not it’s 50/50 in who would win
