Sarah I V Sutter There are 4 of these, and each of them are a little different. They fly fairly the same as a normal 747, but they are a bit more sluggish. Crosswind landings can be tricky, but honestly, as long as you keep the wings level, it’s no big deal. The VNAV feature is never exactly accurate but close enough. For as big as it is, there’s not much living space for us upstairs.
@sarahivsutterb7475 жыл бұрын
@@KarmaFlight Dear Michael, I love the Dreamlifter so much and I have one of them as a model in two different sizes (1:400/1:200) on my table! It is the Dreamlifter with the registration N780BA! The thing with the tiny space you have inside the Dreamlifter I have heard about from a colleague of you in Facebook and I have known it anyway, because Boeing says consequently NO for the possibility of using the space of the pressurized front section of the Dreamlifter for sleeping quarters for the crew! This is something that I don't understand, because it would be such a great opportunity for good and big space for you to take your ordered resting hours during the flight! If I would have to fly the Dreamlifter, I would bring a sleeping bag and a little mattress with me to sleep downstairs in this section of the Dreamlifter! I, by the way can not understand it why Boeing doesn't allow you to sleep downstairs in this big space because it won't change the weight of it and it would not disturb the flight configuration of it! But maybe it is made because of security reasons for you - that's the only thing I can think about it why it is like that! I wished me so much that I could have the opportunity to fly with you sitting on the jump seat during the flight to enjoy the ride with my favourite aircraft, but the FAA has forbidden it anyway and this is so terrible! But I love it so much and to hear the engines of the Dreamlifter is simply awesome and adorable for me! I wished that I could come together with you to talk about all and everything about flying and all the other things! Thank you for your information about the matter of flying in crosswinds during the takeoff and touchdowns and how to fly it manually, because it gives me a glimpse of how to do it! Thank you very much and have always a wonderful flight and I hope you all are well and healthy, lovely greetings from Sarah 🙋💖😍✈️👍 And send lovely greetings to your colleague Kurt Ahlstrom 🙋💖✈️👍😍

@@lairbussologue8703 1. France surrenders like it's a race. 2. The sidestick actually has led to several crashes because of their poor design. One notable one was AF447, an A330-200. 3. Airbus really isn't great. Their aircraft look HORRIBLE, especially the neos.

why there’s no coverage on the area in front of the main cargo hold, are there seats and galley? How about the upper deck, what it’s like?
@sarahivsutterb7475 жыл бұрын
There are no seats in the front section of the Dreamlifter and the FAA has forbidden to take passengers with the Dreamlifter and so I have heard about it the pilots have only a tiny small space in the upper cockpit section for rest during the flight! That's it! I hope I could help you with the information about it and lovely greetings from Sarah 🙋💖✈️👍😍

The flight deck remains as when they were configured for passenger flight; 4-seats and the 2-bed bunk room along the left side. From the what used to be the flight deck door is a truncated upper deck compared to the freighter version; the lav, galley, luggage closet and the door to take you down to the main deck. With a 3-man crew it's a great plane to fly with one person on break either in a seat or in the bunkroom.

Where can we see such a magnificent insight viewer other than our great Sam Chui. Thank you for sharing with us. Btw, how fast can this thing fly? I assume not the normal 747 speed.
@sarahivsutterb7475 жыл бұрын
For your question about how fast the Dreamlifter can fly! The maximum speed is 878 km/h and above this speed you would have a lot of flutter and this is the reason why Boeing has set up this speed limit for the Dreamlifter! This is the answer for your question about it! Lovely greetings from Sarah 🙋😍💖✈️👍

@@sarahivsutterb747 Thank you and lovely greeting 🙋♂️ to you Sarah. That is still amazingly fast given its unusual shape. May I ask a followup question 🤚. Would it less heavy than a fully loaded 747?
@sarahivsutterb7475 жыл бұрын
@@vtdl88 So I know, the Dreamlifter is never loaded with the MTOW which a regular Boeing 747-400F/747-400BCF can carry because of its expanded fuselage! The MTOW of the Dreamlifter is 396.235kg versus the MTOW of a Boeing 747-400F/747-400BCF with a total weight of 396.890kg! I hope I could help you with this answer about it and once again - lovely greetings from Sarah 🙋💖✈️😍👍
