Why does railways no longer work? Way too many trucks on all roads
@levikalombo163013 сағат бұрын
I'm telling you bro. It's so stupid. How something as convenient and safe as the trains are not operating. As a black person I'm so ashamed. When mbeki was president we used to use trains for long distance.❤

the weather was bad yes, but were there a few Traffic Police in strategic areas on this Pass?? the presence of Law Officers will reduce bad driver behaviour. Preventative action is desperately required here, every year we hear the same excuses.

Condolences to the families of the deceased💔. Eish truck drivers sometimes are impatient on the road to reach their target.

The trucks push it down those hills. Sometimes they overtake me in a car. And in rainy weather its worse.

Thats very sad, lots and lots of trucks on our roads, Why were railway lines distabilized?

Drunk driving and or overtaking even if is not safe to do so. Drivers just overtake on a thin space disregarding oncoming traffic. The norm is let's share the road.

Sincere condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones over the festive season through road accidents across all provinces.What touches me most is in all these horror accidents is how inhuman people have become,so insensitive,to loot from the injured,stamping over bloodied bodies that may be conscious to witness they are not getting any assistance and for that matter looting on dead injured bodies,for liquor,for cellphones etc.Lwayaphi na kodwa uvelwano mzi kaPhalo,oh Lord have mercy.
Stop blaming weather and other factors. Promote safe and careful driving.

Again taxi involve when will people realize taking taxis is like playing Russian roulette with their own life's surely this can't come as a shock as this is happens weekly

Then I guess you didn’t listen or comprehend what was said here. If the truck driver ran away, it might mean that he’s at fault and not the taxi driver. So people who don’t have cars and only have taxis as an option, what should they do?? They must walk?

I was coming back to jo'burg on Sunday, the weather was so bad, we had 10 hours of nonstop rain, 2 car accidents that happened within 10 meters of us (thankfully it was small) and then there were cars on fire as well... when we were coming through Van Reenen's pass there was a truck overtaking in heavy rain and coming into the oncoming traffic.. if he lost control, it would've been tickets. I really wish trains were still in use, it would be a lot less danger to the people. And of course the truck driver fled the scene😑😑 it's absolutely ridiculous!! My sincere condolences to the people who've lost family and friends the this horrible accident, May they rest in peace💔❤️ and May the Lord comfort you all❤️🩹

But it's always KZN trucks coz they're not serviced. There are trucks everywhere in the country but KZN ones are always a problem, thus causing fatalities throughout the year. They should be investigated and go through roadworthy testing.

I have an ask, do SA citizens just don’t want to drive trucks? Why always a foreign driver when SA citizens are unemployed? Yoh guys we need a serious revolution in this country, we will never work
