Thank you very much for creating these lessons! They are really useful and very easy to understand :) I also like how the examples are very modern and "up to date" (Netflix, Amazon, Animal Crossing, etc :D)

Yay! Thank you! Yeah, using words which you talk with friends now could help you to remember the grammar rules I think. I enjoy talking about my favorite things, too. 😃

I have a slight confusion. “そのサンダルが買いたくていまみたらもう売ってきませんでした” shouldn’t it be “もう売っていた” instead?
@Akokitamura4 жыл бұрын
I just checked the video. I wrote/said 売っていませんでした, right? It should be 売っていませんでした not 売ってきませんでした. 売ってきます is used when you go somewhere to sell something and come back to the original location.
@2003006464 жыл бұрын
Ako I made a typo, Yes, you said 売っていませんでした but I don’t understand the sentence, I guess. That’s why I thought it should be もう売っていた “it was already sold” Because the response was I should’ve bought it last week 先週買えばよかった

そのサンダルが買いたくて今見たらもう売っていませんでした- I wanted to buy those sandals and now when I looked they weren’t already sold. That’s how I understood that sentence. Don’t you mean “they were already sold” もう売っていた?
@Akokitamura4 жыл бұрын
@@200300646 Not sure if I understand your English translation correctly, but もう売っていませんでした means "they don't sell the sandals anymore" (i.e. it's sold out).
@2003006464 жыл бұрын
Ako Thank you. I think it just a nuance thing. “They were sold already” and “They don’t sell them anymore” are in a sense the same. I guess I was thinking もう売られた perhaps. ありがとうございました。迷惑な問題をごめんなさい
