N4HNH Radio is live during X7.1 solar flare

My Ham Clock had been displaying X-ray values in the C range most of the day. A, B, or C readings are okay. The next class is M-class. M-class flares can cause disruptions to HF propagation on the sunny side of the Earth for an hour or so. X-class is next on the scale. X-class is the worst. I was watching the Ham Clock while doing some day-job work on my computer and I suddenly noticed that the Ham Clock was showing an X-class flare at 7.1. I grabbed the camera and tripod and prepared to go live. As I went live, the X-ray value started trending downward. But there was still enough intensity to use this as an opportunity to learn more about the Ham Clock and its value to the amateur radio community.
