Man the subtitles are really useful now that I think about it. Knowing even just a couple hundred kanji is very useful for boosting comprehension when listening, even if I don't know or remember how to pronounce them. Keep the vids coming. Best, Julez

I’ve heard that people listen to Japanese tv shows, music, conversations for hours & eventually months or even years later they start to understand what is being said, I’m gonna try to listen to your videos even though I can only pick up a few words, thanks from the US.

Highly recommend you learn some of the basics, otherwise you're probably going to get really frustrated and maybe give up. The people who claim that have usually already created a learning base with the basics. Some of them may have learned purely by listening, but I guarantee that's a rare thing.
@СавиСтанкова26 күн бұрын
@@thomasbrown3793 Agree. I covered several texbooks and took private lessons to be able to understand 80% of the conversations here.Not easy to just sit lazy and listen you need some work to do first.

Shunさん, these videos are exactly what I'm looking for. I plan on revisiting Japan once I can use Japanese to perform common activities during my visit (like what you're doing in your video!).
