Yo?!?! You were playing this like its Soul Calibur? This game plays more like Akuma in Tekken 7. You cancel Normals into Specials (& even Special to Normal) to do Combos. You even Cancel Special into Special. So, if I remember still the buttons are Horizontal Attack (H), Vertical Attack (V) and Kick (K) (I think I´m missing a button...) and a Combo for Takeshi would be composed of any hit in a String of Normals (He has 2: V,H,V and H,H,V) or his other Command normal like H+V? (High Sword Stab) and his Special Moves: Dashing Palm b,f+V; Uppercut Slash qcf+V; Overhead Slash qcb+V; Flying Kick b,f+KCombo 1: V,H,V, qcf+VCombo 2: H+V, b,f+V, qcf+VCombo 3: Jump V, V,H,V, b,f+V, qcf+VCombo 4: qcb+V, b,f+K, V,H,V, b,f+V, qcf+V & he winning Hit is a Normal, Hitting a Standing Opp (Leaving him dizzy for the Fatality)Combo 4: qcb+V, b,f+K, V,H,V, Fatality: Close? qfb,hcf+H? Sorry, Notation and details escape me from the Arcade days... Anywho, you should try it, this game is awesome, its Combo System has insane execution, up there with KOF, but feels amazing and a little polishing and added fluidity would make this game sell today. And there´s playable chicken too....

I love this game, I still play it on my N64. I haven't beaten it and owned it for 20 or so years. It has credits so it only gives you six tries then it's game over which sucks and why I haven't beaten it. The animation is real good and love the character and level designs, only Rashid's level I find is choppy. I was hoping you guys would have unleashed your 10 or so combo range instead of just the two, the commentator has a kickass voice and really makes it more badass when he says some uplifting words on how your doing. My other favorite N64 game is also another rare one called Jet Force Gemini it's an adventure quest game, I made a facebook group for both. I recommend Jet Force if you haven't played it, and Heretic 2 for the pc which is like Hexen and doom.

ArikBalmung1990 They're using the actual console to play these games, if they played Mace on an emulator like Project 64 some of the stages would have F'd up skyboxes
