I'm listening to this at work because it reminds me of my childhood. I feel way more productive this hour, but the sfx of the timer warning and missed piece definitely triggered a stress response that I haven't felt in a while

The sound effects of the shapes clearing unlocked something in my head that in can't fully describe. I'm currently on a hunt for a treasure trove of illegal roms to see if i have this in my collection.

Update: I found the rom. I played it on project 64 (an updated version) and wii64. P64 plays it just fine. Wii64 on the other hand has this weird effect where when I move the cursor, the color of the pieces, as in the whole ball, changes. It cycles between the colors of the pieces. And whenever you drop pieces, they don't turn white before they vanish. It's not the best experience, but it works.

This was one of the most intense puzzle games on the N64.

Probably pointless to say this on a 3 year old video, but the garbage blocks, the little purple square ones, if they fit inside the cursor shape, you can press the grab/move button to create one of those highlighted blocks.

Not pointless. We're still finding this video. 👍

I remember sitting in the floor with a little console and a box tv and my dad and his brother and my mom and me all huddled around with them taking turns on this.

I don't remember seeing this anywhere or it being a title but it wouldn't be a game at the top of my list anyway.

Why did you feel we needed to know that? Why are you even here???
