For planning, as a basic chain before the main orquestrator, is best to use the 70b llama distilled one from groq because its way faster and you get 80% of the benefits from the thinking even at 70b

Hi, using n8n starter but cannot find either of them

my guess is you rnning it through a docker with self-hosted-ai-starter-kit, in the docker-compose.yml find the following image: n8nio/n8n:latest and change it too image: n8nio/n8n:1.77.0. that version is a 'PRE-RELEASE" and not the "LATEST" so it pulls the 1.76.1 version which doenst have all the new models. When you edited the .yml file type the following inside your self-hosted-ai-starter-kit directory: docker-compose down docker-compose up -d give it a few seconds and n8n will be running again.

Hey thanks for this video, did you know if we can change the provider for each model (R1 and V3) because the default one is x3 expensive than the basic one but i don't know how we can change this in n8n. Thanks !

While this is cool I've searched everywhere and even asked n8n Twitter how to update to the latest and i can't find it anywhere. I'm on Windows and used 'npx n8n' to initially install and it's still on 1.76.1 I am running self hosted. Do you know how to update? Great content ✊🏻

well, nothing really new. I have used DeepSeek models via ollama in n8n and it worked great. I love the reasoning output and I see where and why it answers wrong when looking at it's reasoning.
