Indian Hindu fundamentalists do not believe in the history of Emperor Ashoka, saying he was not a great emperor. Because Ashoka abandoned Hinduism and embraced Buddhism. It was Ashoka who came to Nepal and made an inscription stating that Gautama Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal. He married his daughter Charumati to the Nepali Prince Devpal. The Buddhist monasteries built by Charumati and Devpal and the cities they lived in, Devpatan and Chawhil, still exist in Nepal. Indians do not tell this history to anyone.Indian archeologists were the ones who discovered all this, but this matter is hidden because if people know the truth, there will be no false influence on Indians.
