Wrong explanation about Bhutia community in Sikkim, they are not at all REFUGEE from Tibet, Sikkim Raja is from Bhutia community, Bhutia and Lepcha are origin inhabitant of Sikkim. Refugee from Tibet came to India in 1959, they are settled all over India and abroad.

Dear, I do not understand why and who have suggested to visit Sikkim during monsoon season. you are missing the real beauty of Sikkim because all sides are covered with dense and low clouds. The mighty Kanchanjungha (The third height peak and other snow packed peaks are visible from Gangtok and your are missing the other beautiful places of Sikkim. And the danger of road blocks are always there during this season. some information about Sikkim 1. mostly you will not observe or listen the honk of car in Sikkim (honk restrictions are there) 2. Smoking in public places or open area are strictly prohibited 3. Single use plastic is ban 4. Usually clean and cleaner compared to most parts of India 5. Sikkim is India's only and complete organic food / vegetable producing state 6. Sikkim is the only state in India that is not having a single square feet of plain land totally hills & mountains. 7. Permits required and restrictions are there due to close vicinity of china and sensitive place for military strategic factors. 8. And Sikkim joined officially to the Republic of India, leaving the monarchy and still some restriction prevail due to the accord Thanks and visit again in March or oct / Nov,

Bhutias in Sikkim are not from Tibet who migrated after the war. They are one of the original inhabitants of Sikkim like the Lepchas that's why Lepchas and Bhutias both are called as sikkimese, even the Royal family of Sikkim are Bhutias. Have fun.
