That completely captured everything It was an experiment in excess. Fight scenes staged on cars pieced together like patchwork quilts while they chase a tanker truck across the desert? WHY THE F*** NOT? This is why Guitar Guy is the embodiment of the movie's aesthetic: Guy playing double electric guitar that is also a flame thrower while suspended from a truck built vertically with a giant speaker system and a huge multi-person drum kit is in the back of the flatbed? WHY THE F*** NOT? The timing and the song fit with how much the movie likes to add fuel to fires and see just how visually chaotic they can go. Amazing. (I'm a film student - sometimes I gush excessively).

a beautiful video showing of the ridicouls/massiv world of the movie with the warboy/immortan joe cult, and also a good way to cheer oneself up while singing along to. i love the "gimme love/i will keep it in a box" with how immortan joe views the sisters as objects but i also like "the everybody wants to change the world" part because i always mishear the first line as "everyone wants a chance at love" followed by change the world.the hand theme in that verse is so fitting,because the movie is loud and bright and has a flamethrowing guitar but it also has something to say and really touched my heart.
