While running heavy tasks the battery backup is not great, this device only comes up with 3200 mAh The OS is smooth, all other hardware and software features are working perfectly, battery back up is fine while handling normal to medium tasks…. You can go for the update, however please do not update by charging your phone, as suggested by @Nabeel bhai

But there is a problem with dialer. Seems dialer is not accessing all contacts. Not in all, but some saved contact name are not be shown up in dialer when you dial a complete number. It is shown only if you call.

There were no issues up until I last updated 12 hours ago. You can update it. I believe your phone is in warranty because it is new. Ai features available in ios 18.1 I’m using iOS 18

For the iPhone 14 plus users, there are no issues and i didnt get any issues and it is very smooth. I had put the phone on update and slept there were absolutely no issues and it works smoother than ios 17 if u have th update do it, dont miss out

Thanks for that great indepth review of iOS 18. I liked the iOS 18 on my iPhone 13 Pro. The look & feel of the touch screen is more fluidic. The entire iOS feel good especially the Dark mode of the icons. I did an OTA after charging the iPhone 13 Pro to 90%. After the update the battery charge was at 83%. No heating noticed, because I followed the steps as explained by your good self. I find the battery health is still @88% after using this iPhone as my primary device for 2 years % 8 months.
