I remember Costa Rica beating Sweden in a come from behind 2-1 victory in the 1990 World Cup which put them 2nd in their group with Brazil. In an average World Cup, this was one of the stand out matches for me & I've watched CR closely ever since. 2014 was a great team for them

The biggest memory of that tournament was the penalty shootout against Greece. Especially the penalty winner of Michael Umaña (Don't think we're related lol just look at my last name. We're all Salvadorians) and is no one gonna ever call out Tim Krul. That fucker every penalty he saves. He jumps at least 2 yards off his line. He's the only keeper every not to ever have a pen been retaken for that
