The moderator referred to "Matatu" as being KShs3/=.That's not entirely correct. Actually, the term was derived from 30cents which is a short version of the taxi fare "Mang'otore Matatu"(in Kikuyu).1 King'otore" was 10cents, so one needed 3(three) 10 cent coins for the fare! This can also give us the extent of the devaluation (through inflation) of the currency over time!
