I've shelved the raid teams. I got them to where I'm top in my guild, upgraded the teams I had planned to upgrade, and called it quits. I was super excited for this raid, but this raid nearly caused me to burnout and leave the game. I'd love to implement some of these teams, as they seem more consistent, but I'm not going to develop the teams any further, so I'm stuck with the harder teams 🤣

Great vid, I was thinking to myself to do something in the raid server to update recommendations to put KAM in the Lumi team. A theoretical optimized score is meaningless if you can't convince people en masse to work through the rng and thinking :)

I use the B2 team at relic7. It needs a few attempts to get max, but it is at least still viable. I'm jealous of how easy that it looks for you though! I'm running most of these at relic7 (Lumi relic5). The QA team at relic9 drags me up to 10.4m so I'm not going to invest any more now

The reason why you want B2 lead at R8 is because at the R8 tier when the Sep in the lead slot uses a special, they lower the enrage meter by 1%. B2 keeps enrage meter low, allowing you to cruise to the final wave without a headache. This mechanic only kicks in at the R8 tier though. At lower levels you might be better off using Maul lead.

@ScottPress Oh I'm aware of the team boost at relic8 - but long term - I just don't think those 5 characters are worth giving relic8 to! I still need to unlock Leviathan and LV (plus GL Ahsoka too) so I think my relic focus needs to go there for the permanent roster improvement

I’m doing the same 1 R9 team, 3 R7 team and 1 R5 team for 10.2M score. To get the team in the video, I would need to upgrade 16 toons to R8 …. That is a lot of investment that I could use elsewhere. If I could spare that amount of ressources, for sure I would do it.

as ever, it's trade-offs time and will to live, versus character investment ... I split it like this: r9 QA MQG POW team and before you say anything, I don't need or get the max score with this team! r8 Gungans r7 OG versions of the Lumi & Beq teams, and the Maul trio What this means is that I don't need max scores on either the QA or two of the r7 teams Gungans, Beq, Maul are pretty reliably one-and-done-max And the other two are reliably one-and-done 3.1 and 1.4 million That gets me over 10.4 (which, also is my guild requirement) And the trade-off is time, I do an extra battle, versus investment ... To do your method would require taking seven characters from r7 to r8 and three from r5 to r8 At this point, not worth it -- much as the time saving sounds great! but also, two worthless Jedi and two worthless Sith ... Was it worth taking Queen Amidala to r9 over r8? I mean .... eeeeh, maybe? she's solid, unlike Sid, Maul, Lumi, Kit

I'm not sure the R8 perk for the B2 lineup is all that valuable. I can reliably max it at the R5 tier without resetting and it's never really close to enrage

That’s encouraging. The R1 tier was a breeze. I’m aiming for the R5 or maybe R7 tier, but I don’t really want to take any of these to R8. I’m also using Nute instead of STAP, but I don’t know that it makes much difference.

It's the difference between getting 1.2 for you and 2.7 at r8. Reliably maxxing it. So if you are getting your points on other teams great but 1.5 mill is definitely valuable that you aren't getting at the R5 tier.
