Amazing! I got to see Luke in 1983 with ToTo and it was one of the most memorable concerts I’ve ever seen. Luke was on fire running all over the stage like a madman jumping up on Paich’s piano, getting up on the FOH speakers……..he was just doing his best Ted Nugent routine while playing intricate ToTo solos. It stands out in my mind 40 years later as if it were yesterday.

Wow!! It's amazing to watch you play Lukather's work. I was fortunate enough to see Toto in 1986 on the "Fahrenheit" tour when Jeff Porcaro was still playing. Solos And sounds are spot on, solid and massive! You can tell there’s even more fierce if needed, but you’re holding back to not overwhelm the original feeling, and that comes across as great control and sky-rocket drive and pocket. IMHO best Luke take on internet. Chapeau 🤟

Man, this is fantastic. Very well done! Maybe best of all, we can actually hear all of his solos. Luke has mentioned more than once that he and Paich used to fight over the volume of the solos in the mix. Many times, the guitar is definitely not distinguishable enough during Luke's solos.

Wow, super impressive. You have absorbed the emotion along with the technical proficiency. It's almost too good to be true. Steve is also a great rhythm player as in his playing on the Thriller and Silk Degrees albums and other Quincy produced albums. It would be great to see you demonstrate some of these too.
