I was to the exact places you showed about 2 weeks ago. I asked the man at the post office if it were safe for a gringo who does not speak Spanish to walk across the border & look around. He thought it would be. I then asked 2 border patrol officers near the entrance if it would be safe to walk across to have lunch. Neither had ever been and had no desire to go, but thought I would be fine if I stayed on the main road. So, I said a prayer & walked into Naco, Sanora. I was the only gringo. I only saw bars, no restaurants, only street food I heard one should avoid. A man started following me & then started asking for money, so I thought it was time I leave. I was only in Mexico about 30 minutes, but glad I made the short trip.

Re-Commission the Old Forts, in those Little Towns along the Border. The Local Residents would Welcome the Soldiers, Border Patrol would have extra Support without Governors or Congress having to Order or Request such. County or Municipal Law Enforcement would also benefit. Peacetime Military Service for Active Duty Personnel. What's so wrong with a small Battalion of 30 to 60 Soldiers, that are Stationed every few miles, like in past Eras?

This is my nieghboehood. As a teacher, my Mexican students walk across the border each day to attend US public school...free breakfast and lunches...school supplies, books, back pack. This is normal and been the norm for decades. I LIVE HERE!

Plenty of room at Camp Naco..Why send them all up to busy cities when there's plenty of room right here. It might help some of these small towns flourish. Even beat down towns, closed buildings...it looks like heaven to a migrant. All the open land you have been visiting could be used ...so much land...Why send them to big cities. Most are agriculture so why not keep the migrants down where there is opportunity.
