Yes it was! It was a really nice surprise because 2 years ago when we visited it was very blurry because of the waves and currents - still beautiful, but not clear as now ❤️

The truth is it is very difficult for any island in the world to beat Palawan's beauty. It's so diverse, not just El Nido - from North to South it's incredible. And of course Port Barton in the middle - it stole our hearts in 2020. But the entire Philippines is wonderful like that, you can do anything your heart desires and you will always have the greatest welcome in this country. ❤️

Yes, life on 2 wheels is great in a country where there’s mutual respect between cars and motorbikes🙏 Also, in the Philippines wherever you look, your jaw drops at the beauty of nature 🤩 Thanks so much for watching!

Another wonderful feature. I've never seen the Las Cabanas zip line vlogged before which surprises me because the cinematics from the vlogger's perspective and of the vloggers from a distance were spectacular. I enjoyed watching you soak in Nacpan's tourqouise-light emerald green water...Wow! Re: prevention of nik nik bites, I read applying insect repellant containing DEET to exposed skin or the natural way, products containing oil of lemon eucalyptus. Keep enjoying the Philippines because it's more fun with YOU!
@roamaniacs2 жыл бұрын
Aw, Thanks so much! Eventually we found that Coconut oil works, nik niks can’t bite through it, but you can’t always be covered fully in oil😅 We applied OFF all the time and citrinella based ones too, but sandlfies are just next level beasts haha. The zipline is really nice, we enjoyed it a lot z🤩

The snippet of Batad rice terraces is spectacular but there's actually more amazing rice terraces I found out in the Cordilleras that is also as wonderful like the one in Malig-cong in Bontoc & another in Bauko & Sagada, Mt.Provincce. Anyways beautiful beach very long, wide & spacious nice place to chill & relax🏖🌴
@roamaniacs2 жыл бұрын
In Batad we've done the longer trek through Pula and Cambulo, we loved it, the favorite part was in Cambulo and Pula because it's not as touristy and you can experience more the local way of life and have time to understand why these people love to live there and call those villages their home still. Can't wait to show it in the next vlogs! Will surely return next year to explore some more in the Cordilleras, that area is out of this world wonderful! Thanks for the tip, noted, we will surely go back there and explore.

@@roamaniacs Oh great, very interesting area/region I would say & it is probably the most different/unique part of the PH. Gareth Leonard's video 'Journey to northern Luzon' made me more curious & interested about the place, the landscape/scenery is just so different from the usual beaches that is usually shown about the PH & its just amazing how a minority group were able to build those thousands of stonewalled rice terraces & although there are also some beautiful & spectacular rice terraces that I had seen in China & Vietnam but it was basically a mud wall terraces w/out riprap/not stonewalled. And also it was the only part of the PH that was never been conquered & influenced by Spanish & the Americans & yet, I find the communities more decent & nicer(sturdy well-built houses) compared to what I saw w/ their lowland counterparts. anyways looking forward to your next video
@roamaniacs2 жыл бұрын
@@cookiemurph8532 Thanks for the tip - we will watch the video. Yes exactly, I was going to say - the people all over the Philippines are amazing - but there's something special about the Cordillera community - there must be a reason why they never got conquered. We also found similar terraces in the Candijay region in Bohol - again, not the usual Panglao and tarsiers trip (by no means I'm saying they're not nice to see too) But we found Candijay in Bohol to be the most beautiful area, much more beautiful than the Chocolate Hills. One must be just a little bit more curious and will be surprised and rewarded with unexpected beautiful places everywhere 🤩

@@roamaniacs Yeah, I have read that Igorot warriors take heads from their fallen enemies as a symbol of their bravery & as a trophy😁😅 & maybe that is why the Americans have to befriend w/ them to be able to set foot in the mountains & made Baguio as their hill station/headquarters as well as a summer vacation place🤠

Nacpan is beautiful but sometimes there are rip currents. In 2020 there were big waves and currents when we visited, in 2022 it was calm. Sibaltan is nice and calm ☺️
