मन्दिरबाट निस्केको नदि
“तब ती मानिसले मलाई फर्काएर मन्‍दिरको प्रवेशद्वारमा ल्‍याए, र मैले मन्‍दिरको सँघारको मुन्‍तिर पानी आइरहेको र पूर्वतिर बगिरहेको देखें (किनभने मन्‍दिर पूर्वतिर फर्केको थियो)। पानी मन्‍दिरको दक्षिणबाट, वेदीको दक्षिणपट्टिबाट बगिरहेको थियो। तब तिनले मलाई उत्तरको मूल ढोका भएर बाहिर ल्‍याए, र पूर्वतिर फर्केको बाहिरी ढोकामा घुमाएर ल्‍याए, र पानीचाहिँ दक्षिणतिरबाट बगिरहेको थियो। जब ती मानिस एउटा नाप्‍ने टाँगो हातमा लिएर पूर्वतिर गए, तब तिनले एक हजार हात नापे, र गोलीगाँठासम्‍म गहिरो पानीबाट मलाई हिँड्‌न लगाए। तिनले अरू एक हजार हात नापे र मलाई घुँड़ासम्‍मको पानीबाट हिँड्‌न लगाए। तिनले अरू एक हजार हात नापे र मलाई कम्‍मरसम्‍मको पानीबाट हिँड्‌न लगाए। तब तिनले अरू एक हजार हात नापे, तर अब त्‍यो तर्न नसकिने नदी भयो, किनभने पानी बढ़ेको थियो, र त्‍यो पौड्‌न सक्‍ने गहिरो भएको थियो- वारपार गर्न नसकिने त्‍यो एउटा नदी भएको थियो। तिनले मलाई सोधे, “ए मानिसको छोरो, के तँ यो देख्‍दैछस्‌?” तब तिनले मलाई फेरि त्‍यस नदीको किनारमा लगे। जब म त्‍यहाँ आइपुगें, तब मैले नदीका दुवैतिर धेरै रूखहरू देखें। तिनले मलाई भने, “यो पानी पूर्वको इलाकातिर बग्‍छ, र त्‍यहाँदेखि तल अराबामा जान्‍छ, जहाँ त्‍यो खारा समुद्रमा पस्‍छ। जब त्‍यो खारा समुद्रमा रित्तिन्‍छ, तब त्‍यहाँको पानी ताजा बनिन्‍छ। त्‍यो नदी बगेको ठाउँमा थुप्रै जीवित प्राणीहरू बस्‍नेछन्‌। त्‍यहाँ अनगन्‍ती माछा हुनेछन्, किनभने त्‍यो पानी त्‍यहाँ बग्‍छ र नुनिलो पानीलाई ताजा बनाइदिन्‍छ। यसैले जहाँ त्‍यो नदी बग्‍छ, त्‍यहाँ जेसुकै पनि बाँच्‍नेछ। त्‍यसका किनारै किनार जालहारीहरू उभिनेछन्‌। एन-गदीदेखि एन-एग्‍लैमसम्‍म जालहरू फिँजाउने ठाउँहरू हुनेछन्‌। त्‍यहाँ किसिम-किसिमका माछाहरू हुनेछन्‌- महासमुद्रका माछाहरूजस्‍तै। तर त्‍यसका सिमसार र दलदले ठाउँहरूका पानी त ताजा हुनेछैनन्‌ तर ती नुनिला नै रहनेछन्‌। नदीका दुवै किनारमा अनेक किसिमका फलफूलका रूखहरू उम्रनेछन्‌। तिनीहरूका पात ओइलाउनेछैनन्‌। तिनीहरूका फलहरू कहिल्‍यै शेष हुनेछैनन्‌। तिनीहरूले हरेक महिना नै फल दिनेछन्, किनभने पवित्रस्‍थानदेखि तिनीहरूमा पानी बग्‍छ। तिनीहरूका फल खानाको निम्‍ति र तिनीहरूका पातचाहिँ आरोग्‍यको लागि हुनेछन्‌।””
