En realidad, no importa si el cajón es peruano. Creo que lo primordial es motivar a la gente aqui en Perú para que esta súper banda venga a Lima a ofrecer un concierto

@patriotofthepatrie couldn't agree more. that would be amazing. i'd say for most, if not all people there, that probably would have been the case. amazing!

Can anybody tell me what's the percussion instrument called? the one that the drummer is playing?
@johnd244212 жыл бұрын
they could easily be a two man band. with caws' voice and elliott's drumming, all things are possible. no offense to lorca, but he is pretty much window dressing and completely replaceable.

Well, it was four years ago when you wrote this. But I disagree so hard, that I think this still warrants a response. Obviously this song works well even with only Matthew playing (which is a testament to the quality of the song), but in my opinion Daniel Lorca's bass contributes greatly to the band. It adds beautiful colors and (polyphonic) melodic elements, and it doesn't push to the fore where restraint is due. Just listen to Killian's Red.

Even more on this song. Probably John chose the worst Nada Surf to suggest no bass in it because what Daniel does here is pure art and emotion. One of the best bass melodies I ever heard for one of the best songs ever written.
