About a year ago I got a tank and some tees with a square neckline, they feel a lot fresher, and are very flattering for a larger bust like mine. I’ve already got many, many wearings from them. When I need to replace simple basics like these, or just want alternatives, I always look for more current styles, it keeps my outfits looking updated.

This video is so on pont! I had a traditional cut white button down shirt. Upgraded to a boyfriend/oversized fit and it's much more wearable. Easy hack to update traditional tanks: Just wear them backwards if the tag and/or size lettering won't show through. Instant high-necked tank!

Shein is never a good choice. Why are most of the trousers shown so short? Nothing looks worse, to me, than a gap between ankle boot and trouser bottom. Good advice about keeping your basics fresh.

I don’t really want to show my awful upper arms, but I wear tanks or tank dresses anyway if it’s really hot, I don’t want to suffer in sleeves. I have updated mine, but the newer, deeply cut-in styles require T-back bras, so I got one each in nude and black. They weren’t very easy to find, which surprised me, because this cut has been in clothes for a year or so, at least, including in summer tank dresses. I did find them on Amazon eventually, but their crummy search engine just kept offering hundreds of regular styles instead.

I found this video very helpful, like I usually do when I watch one of yours. I was a bit surprised however about you describing the tank top in the way you did. Could you perhaps not say cheap, or low end? You no doubt have a lot more words at your fingertips than I do. I'll still watch your videos, but I couldn't understand why you use this description.

Let's talk about foot joints deformed by pointed shoes. Isn't it better to wear "frumpy" round-toed ballet flats than fashionable ballet flats that deform feet?

There are plenty of ballet flats that are comfortable and cute but of course you have to do what works best for you. I think there’s a balance. :)
