Nada Surf "Just Wait" (Music Film)

"Just Wait” is an ambitious venture and collaboration . It is a ruminative, hypnotic journey through a nocturnal universe of light, love and time. The music film is a performance- based piece featuring Matthew Caws, in an intimate yet abstract allegory--a beautiful exploration of human immersion into landscapes both man-made and natural.
It is an optimistic, philosophical film, hinting at themes of endurance and memory, patience and perspective. In equal measures poignant and haunting, "Just Wait” is an emotional film, resplendent with both epic and naturalistic observational imagery shot in Los Angeles, Cambridge and Sydney.
The sci-fi tone, abstract movement, and textured architectural imagery was inspired by, according to Pellington, “the pure feeling, the purity of Matthew’s voice, the oblique lyrical content and the hypnotic music by Nada Surf”

I order their "Always Love" buttons from the online merch in packs of 20 and hand them out randomly 2 at a time one for the original recipient and the second for them to share with someone else. I loved them before but the one time I got to see them live was the last show I saw before pandemic lockdown insanity isolation happened. The place Nada Surf has in my heart is just so pure and I want the rest of the world to have that unique joy and love.

Tears in my eyes beautiful...One of the loveliest meditations I have seen in a while with stunning imagery to match. Matt, I met you once and we talked a little bit about your father (Seattle 2020 concert. We talked about Bach). I wish I had gotten the chance to meet him. There are some real gems on the new album and this track is one of them. Great message for todays time (2020/21) while we are tormented by all those lies and hardship and loss (job, money, home, loved one, freedom).
