I agree with you, I am from Costa Rica and according to a DNA genetic test I am 3/4 Caucasian and 1/4 Native American. Of that 74% Caucasian almost 30% of my DNA is Mediterranean and because this song I love it and it transmits something special to me. The rest of that 44% Caucasian is distributed in Central Europe, Northern Europe and Western Asia
