Tears trickled down, while I saw Hussain Baksh Gullu sb in Rickshaw Travelling in his latest documentary "Legend of legends". He is a pride of performance. And from Patiala Gharana. Music demands time regularly. To getting charted accountant degree is an easy task within its tenure. But, music learning and its preservation means life time daily practice. "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them". Gullu sb born in a very good music family. His father's name was "ustaad Nathoo khan sb. He was a "sarangi and Tabla player. Except this, He was also a very good classic "gayak". Ustaad ji(Gullu sb) learnt classical khyal singing first from his father and his uncle. And sang Malkauns raga at Radio Pakistan Lahore. When he was 16. Farida Khanum listened him gave 10 rupees as a reward. This was golden era of classic music. Ustaad Bharay Ghulam ali khan and ustaad salamat ali khan were at their music apex. Those days, Listeners listened fondly just semi classic and classic music. Today, all is changed. Learners and music disciples often adopted music as hobby than its perpetual learning. This is unfair to music. An other thing which is horribly disturbing and unsettling to here. Young and old ones listen music. But. say bad to it. They say simple music is a work of "mirasees". It's their stupid thinking. I say just musically. Bureaucrats deal their offices easily. But, they can't work on any good classic Ustaad's seat easily. Though, that good music Ustaad can deals in every Bureaucrat's office easily. Here's good music ustaad got fame. But, financially, they aren't live well. A 17 scale's officer has many pen-powers. But. a good music classic Ustaad has his too much fruitless demands. I am an unease music learning. My family is strictly against to my music learning. I am going to Al hamrah art council Mall road last five months. Before this, I spent four year at Al hamrah cultural complex Qaddafi stadium for music learning. in the music custody of Ishtiaq jaffery, I learnt here, just "sa ra ga ma pa da ni sa". My music was remained immature in all these years. I did my best. One day, Hassan ali met me in the music class. He told Gullu sb is teaching music at Al hamrah mall road. You have to go there. Next day, I went there. And visited Gullu sb's Harmonium class. He was delivering vocal and harmonium lesson to his students. Students were almost 10. And they were sitting on a red carpeted floor in the room. Cushions were same red. It was the winter season. Class room was in the basement and music atmosphere was virtually cool alive. Without wasting a music moment, I took admission here. Ustaad ji took my vocal audition. He allowed me to learning music in the class. I was some confused. I left Qaddafi's al hamrah after four year. At the starting of music learning in Qaddafi, I considered. Music learning is an easy job. This proved opposite to all my music learning hopes. I concluded. Music learning really demands time. Very Good classical singers like Ustaad Bharay Ghulam ali khan and Ustaad salamat ali khan sb served music whole of their life. And famed their glowing names in music history racks. Today, we are imbalance musically. And harsh attitudes on it. Almost, I am disciple of Ustaad Hussain Baksh Gullu sb still last six months. Daily, I attend music class at al hamrah art council Mall road, Lahore. I found personally Gullu sb is a dervash-sift music personality. Believes in truth and facts strongly. And knows well how delivers music to his disciples. Gullu sb asks chae-pani to every his fan. When he meets him. Often. I, with my music mates, take tea cup with biscuits daily with Gullu sb. During tea party, We heard Gullu sb's lovely music talking and jokes. This all occurs after music class in "Adbi-bathak" at Al Hamrah Mall road. And often also, I, with ustaad ji spend my time. I learn good music things in his company. Sana is an exquisite behaving music student here. She narrated a good music status of Gullu sb in his latest Documentary(Legend of Legends). She is talented and rich morally. She likes ghazal singing and classical "khyal" singing. To be strongly assure, I describe this. We aren't respect an artist in his life. But, when he dies. We comment sorrowfully. He was a great artist. This is unfair at all.

There should be “ Ustad Amir khan Pt Bheemsen Joshi pt Jasraj .. in terms on semi Classical Hussain Buksha Sahab Can be Exceptional Bt in a specific Category I think in punjabi Touch songs .. bt not in. Gazals .. his Classical Is not That Impactive like other.. sorry Bt It’s true … Once In Jalandhar At harivalabh After Slamat nazakat,s performance Pt Bheemsen Joshi Performed Same Raag Which they Both Had Sung .. when Pt g Started singing that raag Darbari Salamat Nazakat bowed down to Pt g in front of everybody.. So U should mention Every Artist weather they r from Other Community Althought All Muslims Of Pakistan Bangladesh n India r convertie Muslims Their ancestors were Hindus .. This Music type is also Snatani .. Belongs to Snatan Dharam so don’t Forget ur ancestors n Their contribution ..🙏🏽Salamat Ali Himself Confessed in an interview that his ancestors were Hindu Rajput During Akabar,s Rule over Delhi not in India Akabar forcibly converted every Hindu Artist Of that era .” it’s Written .. so Always Mention Ur ancestors

I was a kid (13 years old) when I listened to 'Lag Gayi Aankh Me Jhadi Aisi' and I couldn't sleep all night. It was so beautifully sung. The very next day I went to my music teacher and I asked him that I want to learn this Ghazal , please teach me. Words can't describe the respect and love I have for Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo. He indeed is a living legend and I hope he gets recognized globally by the masses.

I was watching the Kapil Sharma show, ek episode me sukhwinder singh sahab aaye hue the jubin nautiyal sir bhi, kya hota hai, Kapil chedta hai shayari "soniye je tere naal......." I thought koi Punjabi singer ne Gaya hoga, but jb dekha KZbin pe to ustaad Gullu sahab ko sunane ka mauka mila. Is video me ek madam keh rhi hai ki music ke muamle me India bohot aage hai, i personally think ki Sangeet kisi sarhad ka mohotaaj nahi hai.
