This may be a little morbid, but when I look at that picture, I think about how it would be nice if there were an afterlife, Zyzz being there and all, but I think the reality is that there probably isn't anything after death. Neuroscientifically, consciousness most likely doesn't exist after death. It's possible, but think about it---if I knock you out, are you conscious of the universe? Were you conscious prior to birth? In deep sleep, are you conscious? The answer is obviously no to all of those. People with brain damage lose function of many things we take for granted. I think given these conclusions, it is logical to assume that when you die and your brain is no longer functional that you will experience only nothingness. Oh well, here's to nothingness, time to get shredded.
