This performance was recorded on Oct 27, 2023 in Bilbao, Spain with the ABAO Bilbao Opera and marks Nadine Sierra's first solo bis. It was the 2nd time Nadine sang the famous aria during that night's performance after the audience asked for the encore with 2 minutes of applause.

We're noticing a soprano at the top of her game. The voice and emotions are there. Perfect trills, legato and smooth finishes. Nadine Brava! Wishing you many more "da capo" arias.

We’ve seen this amazing singer at the Met many times. She never disappoints. Those that say that there aren’t any good singers, those that are stuck on Callas, Tebaldi, as great as they were, listen to Nadine.

@@Muttonchop57the only troll here is yourself. Dear audience, remember, opera trolls are never good singers and they don’t posses a good ear, they have just envy and hate for the ones that actually sing. It has always been like that, if they are lucky they just become bad teachers.

La Divina! Mesmerizing, entrancing, and stunning. You bring Juliette to passionate, desperate life, as if Gounod wrote the part especially for you. The only surprise is that the audience let the opera continue at all, rather than making you sing for the rest of the evening. We are all so lucky to hear a performance as great as this. In some respects, Nadine Sierra “journey” is the triumph of a deep monogamous love over wandering carnality. Vocally, Nadine delivered a blend of impeccable technique with emotion and feeling. Her trills were a delight, her top notes smooth and easy, and her legato milky. She easily soared over the orchestra, even at the busiest moments, and there was a vocal confidence there palpable in her delivery.

Noche inolvidable aquel viernes de ABAO-Bilbao. Nadine demostró su capacidad canora y actoral en dificilísimo equilibrio. Cuando la expresividad no es grito, cuando la tragedia es sutileza y, muy especialmente, la expresión facial acompaña a la voz en crescendos y minuendos. Gran dama que conquistó Bilbao.
