Yes, Angela is Carubbean. The Black diaspora is a beautiful flower garden, beautiful , diverse, and awesome. Those of us are lucky who come from Caribbean descent and grew up as Black Americans and mersed in both cultures and maybe that makes it easier to appreciate the entire diaspora including Africa and Central and South America. We a fabulous, awesome, diverse, spectacular , resilient, resourceful people. 😊

Big up Nadine Sutherland the legend and the breakfast club. Afrobeat is completely different from afro-dancehall or afro fusion. The problem is most African artists popular in America do both. Also, people in America classify all music from Africa as Afrobeat. Some of these music if play it Africa people will say is dancehall, and then you play a different music by the same artist and they will tell is Afrobeat or macosa or bongo flavo or ampiano or Rumba. They all sound different.
