I’m sorry, I don’t know how to type Chinese. In United States 1980s, many girls also went for the gothic or vampire like make over. Some also went for short hair unisex or boyish image. They refused the pretty and pure traditional girl image.

成海琳 Yes I know. I do speak Chinese, and also been to both China and Japan. Being Chinese American myself, and I have a sister in law in Japan; I understand perfectly well what’s going on. My sister in law is Japanese but speaks Chinese.
