If he isn't casted as the male lead in his next project i am getting on a plane to south korea and pulling him out of YG ent. and signing him up else where. YG is lousy with him (YG is always sus) . My baby deserves so much more than this, the industry is shit for type casting him he is so talented. He's been acting since a decade now come on people! It's so frustrating... I just want the best for him, I believe in him he will do so so so good as the male lead I know it as its JUST THE FACTS!

Ok chill. He is the one who decides what roles he takes and what projects he works on, YG doesn't force him or tell him what to do. He definitely isn't type cast cuz none of his characters are the same...he has played good guys and bad guys, love interests and mythological creatures. If he wants to play the male lead then that's up to him (he was the lead male in Handmade Love btw), and if he finds the other roles in ensemble shows/movies more interesting then respect that. His career is his own, don't project your wants onto others.

Which indicates that he would love to play the main lead I mean who wouldn't as an actor, the exposure as the main lead is much bigger and better for an actor. Please be informed before you come to preach. Also I have seen many actors getting the lead role immediately after one supporting role...in korean dramas getting the lead role isnt that deep (everyone and anyone gets it) lee soo hyuk isnt getting scripts that allow him to be one, no actor would reject typical loveable main lead roles, those types of roles help actors to get to the top. Lee soo hyuk is mad talented he deserves the lead roles yet he is getting side characters or supporting characters barely 10 mins of screentime in a drama consisting of 16 episodes, he had the audience in his chokehold with minimum screentime that's how powerful his charisma and talent is. Him playing the lead role in handmade love doesn't count as a legit drama, he was great in it, looked beautiful i am sure he increased sales tenfold for the clothing brand that the drama was made for. Handmade love was literally a clothing commercial disguised as a mini web series. I am sure that type of role doesn't fulfill the passion an actor has for acting. He is type casted getting only supporting roles. He has played roles that show case his versatility and range...characters like Gwi, kim joon, yoo jin woo, cha joo ik and park jong gil these are the roles that should have been a wake up call to the directors to send him main role scripts....yet they sit on his potential and cast everybody and their dogs as main leads. How is wanting lee soo hyuk to get what he *rightfully deserves* projecting my wants onto others? Are you dumb? What am I getting out of asking for him to get a lead role? Nothing. We as fans can only support him by watching all his works/projects promote him that's all we can do, that's what I am doing. He has been acting for more over a decade now he has the experience and more importantly immaculate talent required to carry a drama all on his own. YG ent is shit. They dont promote him enough.

@@kaiser_suzi_ exacto en mi país hay actores sumamente talentosos que siguen haciendo papeles secundarios aveces yegan a obtener un protagonico pero de hay ya no pasan aun teniendo un talento nato y hay actores malísimos que casi sin exagerar tienen dos telenovelas por año aburriendo al espectador al punto de ya no ver las series o telenovelas , pero también los hay buenos pero que la verdad llegan a ser tediosos estarlos viendo, lee soo hyuk lo e visto en diferentes dramas y es buenísimo de villano como de bueno y creo que este actor merece desde hace tiempo ser protagonista pues e visto que en algunos dramas que a hecho se a comido al protagonista con su actuacion y su atractivo como en borg aigain y El erudito quecamina de noche , ojala los directores sean más sensatos a la hora de conseguir a un buen protagonista como lee soo hyuk
