render time depends on the pc power , if your pc is so powerful then it takes less time than render on a comparably less powerful device

Render it by many units such as smaller videos and merge it later

That's why renders are done in layers. Like individual beauty layers of each characters, different shadow layers, different matte layers. It gives you flexibility. If u have done one layer in morning then give your PC some rest than again after few hours start rendering another layer. And later you can composite those layers to form your desired output.
