I served as a commander for 5 years (2003-2007) in my colony Army and the proud feelings that you get from your soldiers when they call you sab and salute you is na Rovin naga la masti masti ase untill you realise that your Dad is waiting for you at home with his Moses staff like stick. Sumis have the capacity to rise to top .and lead the nagas in the right and good way... look at the truthful ones like this guy who has worked hard to top... they are at the top of their game.... be it in academic, business or extra curricullum.... but greed has corrupted the majority of sumis ..... extortion, robbery, land grabbing etc are majority from sumi tribe..... the rich sumis in dimapur are MOSTLY linked to underground and illegal activities.... the other problem is they don't want to accept that fact and majority will support their own fellow men even in case of wrongdoing.... nagaland needs revival but sumis need it the most at the moment..... may sumis rise to and for the truth and lead the nagas in the right path at the right time...

Watching the interview brought tears to my eyes. I belong to a patroitic tribe, village and family who would never consider us young people joining the Indian army as an achievement. It was never even in my mind or that of my friends. To do so would be akin to forgetting history and spitting on the graves of those that laid down their lives for our nation. As a matter of principle I didn't even attempt any government job, and decided to work and earn by my own two hands. But looking at the comment section it is clear that we Nagas have lost our way. And as much as I wish this young man all the best in life, it is my hope and prayer that our rights and history are not exchanged for jobs and position.

We the nagas don't have much army officers because we lack the knowledge how to appear the exams, how to joint. There are many entries but no guidance, if not we are physically fit and educated, we can easily complete others. To become an army officer we don't have to be highly educated, so be strong, dedicate yourself and try for it my fellow brothers.

@@imagoodboy4095 It is called Combined defence services (CDS)and the exam is conducted by the Upsc (Union Public Service Commission) for recruitment of commissioned officers in the IMA ( Indian Military Accademy), OTA (Officers Training Accademy), INA (Indian Naval Accademy), and IAFA(Indian Air Force accademy).

One can give the CDS examination 2 times a year. The eligibility criteria for this is already said by him in the video. There are many entries for this.
