I always find it interesting seeing how Nagao is learning English. I'm learning Japanese as well through Nijisanji clips so we're basically doing the same thing lol. 長尾の言った通り話すのはバカむずいよね。三四年間ぐらい日本語勉強してるんだけど会話自信全くないなぁ。長尾の英語がペラペラじゃなくても頑張って会話しているのは普通にすごい。 Small corrections: 0:54 "What does that even mean?", 1:05 crasy > crazy, 1:33 "I fully understand the"
Holy shit this is what I really like about Nagao, aside from being fun and interesting he's a monster when it comes to exerting effort. Dude be out there deconstructing clips and vods and makes english study materials out of them which is better than relying on textbooks or formal lessons cuz he's learning from actual conversations; like how he's noticed that "like" has different uses and nuances. Damn I really wish I knew or at least understood good Japanese so I could leave comments about english bits for him.

I really feel a connection to him when he talks about learning english from watching clips the same way we overseas viewers learn japanese from subbed clips like this. The process he is describing (EN clip with JP subtitles -> EN clip with EN subtitles -> zatsudan stream) is the same progression path I'm going through, but for japanese. With how much effort he puts into learning and communicating with EN members, I can see a future where Nagao becomes one of the most fluent in english out of the JP members. There are a number of JP members who understand english surprisingly well but Nagao is one of the few who is willing to put himself in real-time situations with native english speakers. That alone probably puts him en route to acquire the language faster than most english learning students in Japan.

『間投詞』とかで覚えるの苦手なので、好きって意味じゃないときのLikeは全部「なんか」で訳して考えてる That’s like ~. → (これって)なんか〜。 みたいな
