welcome back to our channel, In this video you will see India's pride Nagarjuna Sagar Dam 😊
Built on river Krishna on the border of two states Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. It is the largest Masonry Dam in the world, and the longest dam among dams in India. This Dam is first of its kind as part of the Green revolution in India.
It was built in the era of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1955. In 1967 Indira Gandhi inaugurated the release of water through Dam canals. The rich history of this place has many key ties to Buddhism and they are stored in Nagarjuna Konda near Dam.
