continual uprooting of the stuff is our solution - but not really practicable for a farm!

​@@balmesh if you do that it gets worse (I did that last year..), you tear up the roots in the ground and every single piece becomes a new one. Let it grow a bit a spray the leaves with a herbicide (small hand sprayer so only target the blindweed), that way you'll also reach the roots and prevent it spreading. And you'll have to repeat it throughout the year. We reduced it quite a bit in our garden compared to last year.

Funny, because pulling it up worked in Scotland! Difficult to target the Bindweed with a sprayer as it crawls all around the plants!

@@balmesh It regrows from any segment of root left in the ground. We unwind it if possible and spray it with roundup, just spot spraying the leaves close to the ground with a small handheld sprayer is enough. The less we have to use, the better. Could take some years to get rid of it completely though, as it is everywhere.

Dank u. Meeste mais is al een tijdje weg. Nog een paar erg laat gezaaide percelen over, en een paar die te nat waren. Afgelopen dagen ook niet meer op pad geweest (niet rendabel, kost te veel brandstof en de kans te klein dat er nog wat bezig is). Gisteren was er nog wel een in de buurt, maar net toen het donker werd, dus had qua filmen geen nut meer.
