സിനിമാറ്റോഗ്രാഫറും സംവിധായകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായ വേണുവിൻ്റെ പുതിയ യാത്രാപുസ്തകമായ 'നഗ്നരും നരഭോജികളും ' മുൻനിർത്തിയുള്ള സംഭാഷണം. 2019 ലാണ് മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് സ്വാധീന മേഖലയായ, റെഡ്കോറിഡോറിലൂടെ (ദണ്ഡകാരണ്യം) ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് ഒരു മാസം നീണ്ട യാത്ര വേണു നടത്തിയത്. ലോക് ഡൗൺ കാലത്ത് പുസ്തകം പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു. ദണ്ഡകാരണ്യത്തിലെ അനവധി ആദിവാസി ഗോത്ര വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതത്തെ മനോഹരമായ എഴുത്തിലൂടെയും ഫോട്ടോകളിലൂടെയും വേണു പകർത്തുന്നു. പുസ്തകമെഴുത്ത് പോലെത്തന്നെ അതീവ രസകരമാണ് വേണുവിൻ്റെ ഈ യാത്രാ ഭാഷണവും. മനോരമയാണ് പുസ്തകത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രസാധകർ

വേണു സാറും മനില സീയുമായുള്ള ഈ സംസാരം എത്ര സുന്ദരമാണ് ,,സ്ഥിരം കണ്ടു ശീലിച്ച അഭിമുഖത്തിൻ്റെ ഔപചാരികതയില്ലാതെ ശാന്തമായി എന്നാൽ ഇടവഴികളിലൂടെ ഒഴുകി വരുന്ന ഒരു കുളിരരുവി പോലെ മനോഹരവും,, നമ്മുടെ ആദ്യത്തെ അഭിമുഖം ഇപ്പോഴും തുടർകാഴ്ചകൾക്ക് വിധേയമാകുന്നതു പോലെ ഇതിനും തീർച്ചയായും കഴിയുന്നുണ്ട്... നന്ദി

ഇറങ്ങിയ സമയത്തേ കണ്ട് തീർത്തതാണ് ഈ interview .നഗ്നരും നരഭോജികളും വായിച്ച ശേഷം രണ്ടാമതും കണ്ടൂ. വായിച്ചപ്പോൾ തോന്നിയ സംശയങ്ങളൊക്കെ തന്നെയും ചോദിച്ച മനിലയ്ക്ക് നന്ദി. വേണു സർ ഇത്രയും തുറന്നും ആസ്വദിച്ചും സംസാരിച്ചു കാണുന്നത് ഇവിടെയാണ്. അതിൻ്റെ ക്രെഡിറ്റും മനിലയ്ക്ക് തന്നെ തരുന്നു❣️

ഈ അഭിമുഖം പലപ്രാവശ്യം കേട്ടു... ഇനിയും കേൾക്കും.. ഒരു മടുപ്പും തോന്നുന്നില്ല.. ഒന്നാംതരം ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ...ഒട്ടും കാപട്യം ഇല്ലാത്ത മറുപടി... ഇനിയും ഇദ്ദേഹവുമായി ഇന്റർവ്യൂ നടത്തണം... വേണു ചേട്ടനെ ഇത്ര മനോഹരമായി ഇന്റർവ്യൂ ചെയ്യാൻ മറ്റാർക്കും കഴിയില്ല 👌👌

Wonderful interview...Dandakaranya travel made by Venu sir is very inspiring... the way he went searching for tribals and their culture and he has penned his experiences beautifully After reading the book I had many doubts. Manila mam has beautifully extracted information from Venu sir and my doubts are cleared ❤️❤️❤️

ജഗ്ദൽപുറിലെ anthropology museum ആദിവാസി ജീവിതത്തിൻ്റെ കാഴ്ചകളും അറിവുകളും പകരുന്ന ഒരു നല്ല കേന്ദ്രം ആണ്... ബസ്തർ ഒരു മികച്ച സ്ഥലം ആണ്.. ഞാൻ 16 വർഷങ്ങൾ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു..

32:52 Let the tribals decide which religion , which sect , or which aspect of God they want to follow , they have all the liberty for the same . Religious or spiritual orientation is intrinsic to one individual’s psyche and has to be chosen and followed voluntarily not withstanding the societal or family background of the person. Fashion is a superficial thing followed either to feel good or to gain acceptance in one’s peer groups or in the public . One’s religious beliefs cannot be termed as fashion , because it implies that the person isn’t genuinely following but only flaunting his belief and the form of God which he claims to believe. The tribals can choose whether they want to follow the “ tribal gods “ or the Vedic or Puraanic God/gods or if they want they can choose the Semitic God or accept the Son of God as their Saviour . They have full liberty to choose their God and the way of worship . And if in case they choose the Vedic God , then you can’t be condescending on them by calling it a fashion . By the way Agastya is one of the Saptarishis of the Vedic lineage and of the Bhaaradwaaj family but he is worshipped in Agasthyarkoodam in one of the heavily forested hills the western Ghats mainly by the tribals of the area .
