I am from north India and doing job in Bangalore. I really like this city and thinking of settling down here. You won't believe that in youtube I sometimes search for videos which shows old Bangalore bcoz I have been hearing from old residents over here that this city was very beautiful before the IT revolution and really it was beautiful at that time. I even like this city, it's weather now also the way it is. Traffic is the issue but in big cities this small issues do happen.

This song reminds me of my childhood in 80’s s d 90’s. My dad used to take our family on Bajaj scooter to chit chaat( ice cream parlor seen in the song) .. the brigade road was heaven then - we used to go there for our morning walks. I came here because the movie was Mani Ratnam's first, however I was so mesmerized by the song. What a composition and rendition....... a beautiful number. Of course, I don't know Kannada..... Whatta a movie? ; and just look at my good old Bangalore and Manirathnams classic Kannada movie,finest movie ever ,most of the people from my generation would have watched this movie on Doordarshan.Have walked through these lanes countless times and this Cauvery Handicrafts Emporium, Chit Chat in MG Road are iconic places.It's a cult movie ,we can never have a remake of this movie ever, the songs and the sensitive character portrayal, wonderful stroyline is far ahead of its times . Every frame of this movie is worth watching and the songs are etched in our memories forever.
