We couldn’t resist indulging in the finest assortment of famous dry fruits 🍇🥭 and exquisite hand-made dresses and dress materials 🧵👗, each thread weaving stories of Kashmir’s rich cultural tapestry.
After treating our senses to the market’s delights, we nestled into a cozy cafe for a delightful lunch, savouring flavours that whispered of the land’s essence. 🍽️☕
Anticipation swelled as we headed to experience the epitome of Kashmir’s beauty - the legendary shikara boat ride 🚣‍♂️. But nature had its own plans, as the heavens opened up in a symphony of raindrops, gracing us with an unexpected downpour. Undeterred, we sought refuge in the embrace of our hotel, where panoramic views of majestic mountains embraced the mesmerising dance of rain. 🌧️🏔️
From the comfort of our balcony, we savoured steaming cups of tea ☕ and delectable hot snacks 🍲, our hearts serenaded by the rhythmic pitter-patter of rain. The melodies of nature intertwined with our favourite tunes 🎶, creating a harmonious fusion that mirrored the beauty of Kashmir itself.
Although the shikara ride was postponed, the universe gifted us an intimate connection with the very essence of Kashmir - a day of unexpected magic and serenity, cocooned in the warm embrace of rain-kissed mountains. 🌦️🌄
