Meanwhile from what I see - Comparing Clorinde with any character other than Changli/Jinhsi :wHY dON't coMPaRe 1.1 wUwA chAracTer instead - Comparing Arlecchino and Rover : wEll rOVer is fREE - Comparing Nahida and Verina burst :well vErINA is a sTandArd 5* (Ignoring the fact WuWa is 2024 game and Nahida is 5* from 2022) And then there is also Clorinde Vs Yinlin animation where most people can agree Yinlin have better animation overall but can't accept that Yinlin's burst is nothing special compared to Clorinde burst. So.. Ya. Community can be bias like crazy and delusional, but for WuWa's is a whole other level of delusion as most of their players are bunch of Genshin haters who came from Genshin before. And ofc I do expect lots of them to reply to this with hates and mocks. But whatever, I guess? WuWa is a great game that IS better than Genshin in some aspect, but the community gathering is just a pit hell that ruin the game reputation even before the launch until now. There go all the hopes trying to create a healthy community for this new game.

I love the archons, but Jinhsi is just an unfair existence at this point, we can put her on a gauntlet against all current archons and her gacha animation alone would blow them all out as Genshin just slaps PNG for summons. Then when we compare their kits and animation side by side it's just like rubbing salt into a wound then spraying it with alcohol.

The problem with genshin is that their characters' kits do not tell you what the characters are suppose to be. Like you look at Zhongli and Neuvi, how are you suppose to know they are dragons when there is not even a single hint of dragon in their entire skill set? So u gotta resort to yap fest to know what exactly they are, and honestly, that is just bad character design. Meanwhile with Jinhsi, u can just skip everything and as soon as you play her, you'll know she is either a dragon, or someone blessed with power of dragon.

fr also some characters literally have better designs (at least the combat effects) than the archons. 😭 like why is nilou soloing zhongli and venti with combat design alone. nilou.. the normal.. human.. dancer… ik they were some of the first archons but even looking at them alone they don’t give “godlike status” rework them or give them a 5 star skin RIGHT NYOWWWW 🗣️

Looking at Wuthering waves character (esp jinhsi and changli) I feel like it is very easy to know who they are in terms of personality , like some genshin designs are obviously very good but but how was I suppose to know that a character like neuv was a dragon without reading tough the story?

i think you underestimate how much time plays a factor, for one even games like dmc have issues, like how dmc4 was rushed and it shows with half the game being backtracking. Second even if nahida came out in 2022, the game's code and foundation is actually from 2020, twice the time of the initial comparison, as it stands the difference in device performance from 2020 and 2024 is very noticeable. Genshin for the time it was made was already pushing the devices it could be played on to a certain extent, its why there are so many memes about phones overheating, thus the devs would have had to optimized the game around all these limitations to ensure it ran smoothly. Its not unreasonable to assume that they still design many of their content under those limitations, because sudden drastic shifts in the design could break the game in unfavorable ways.

I mean - if you're enjoing it - I'm more than happy for you...But would you kindly see how devs not interested in making something more?..And not deny it... What matter here is that Nahida is a character developed in the year of 2022 meanwhile Verina has gain multiple animation upgrade because her release in 2024, this year. Some of standard 5* also have really good animation such as Ling Yang, Calcharo and Jianxin.
