As always, simply breathtaking and amazing! Going to Boston to see him in a week and I'm so excited! Finally, a great musician who is still alive and with a positive message. It truly is medicine. Wow! This is just blowing my mind! I've never heard these guys before, was listening to some live Michael Franti(🤘) when it finished the auto-play played this, & wow! Truly awesome live show. Each & every song is like listening to an old favorite, it just resonates right in my soul. And such a great message he's getting across. I know I'd find it very hard to be of Native descent without being very angry & bitter for al that befell his people. But he seems to have embraced all Man, spreading the word of love & peace, & the restoration of our Mother Earth. Philosophies I've heartily embraced for many years, since I let go of my hatred of humankind for all atrocities dealt Natives globally & the horrors we have dealt to Mother Earth. Now I just embrace the peopie who feel the same, try to open the eyes of the ignorant, & do what I can for the Mother.

I finally understood that after 41:02 another song kicks in connecting with On the Verge: We shall overcome! Strangely I do not see any good records of this song. But this version is I must say an epic one. I think people there at this Caliroots '14 witnessed a performance that all humanity is affected. It is an epic history sung there!

I agree that it is the best part of the show and I couldn't believe the version on the album. I tried to convince myself that Nahko has some sort of sense in converting these epic lyrics into the genre in the album but in my opinion this tirade-like version is just unbelievable and here he simply shouts to the world what a great poet he is.
